My home
This is where I live. Somerset in the south of England is famous for its links with King Alfred who hid in the Somerset Levels while fighting the Viking invaders; and also the legendary King Arthur and the Glastonbury Tor. Agriculture is the main industry and cheesemaking (the Cheddar type), cider, apple brandy and basketry from the willows growing in the Wetlands. The county has 40 miles of coastline bordering the Bristol Channel and is surrounded by the counties of Avon, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Dorset and Devon, with Taunton as the county town.
Today is dull, wet and dreary so I apologise for the even more boring blip!
