Peanut butter

The lovely Jane who I had the pleasure of touring Thailand with once uttered the famous words "You have to talk about these things or else how do you know your normal".
She did so after telling us storys about sex, pregnancy and birth (Some of which would put you off your tea) while in a bar in Chang Mai.

She is totally right! It's the principle of counselling right there.
People feel guilty or embaressed about how they are feeling and thinking. It can feel like your the only one who feels that way.
However if you talk to someone you realise that it's not true.
We as a people need to open up a little more to each other. No man is an Island.
I will take this with me as I continue to train to be a counsellor myself and as a client of counselling.
Thats what blip is for me. A chance to unload what i'm feeling in the hope that people will read it and take comfort in it.

No uni tonight so enjoying peanut butter on toast for supper!!
