Town House
The sun made a very rare appearance this afternoon. And it was quite mild. Signs of Spring at last.
Out of the bundle of photos taken today I've gone for this one to blip with. Its one of the quaint town houses - Spitttal's House - situated on one of the routes to Stirling Castle in Scotland. I quite liked the late winter sun casting a shadow of a tree on the house.
ps - Robert Spittal was tailor to King James IV. He left money to help the poor of Stirling. The alms house was originally erected about 1650. It's a tricky building to photograph as there is a road sign and other 'clutter' at the front of the building which contaminate the scene. This shot is cropped by focusing above the modern-day clutter.
