Rodents rule

From dawn to dusk

I had a great day out today, working at a studio with a photographer, a book designer and a textile designer. It was really fun and everything went very smoothly. The shots and the creatures that were the stars of the show looked great. The shoot is for a book that's going to the Bologna Book Fair next month. I have all my digits crossed that it will be a hit and I can edit the book as a live project later on in the year. The textile designer comes from my birth town, Banff, so it was interesting to chat to her about the east coast in between setting up the scenes for the shoots.

The book designer and I tried not to look at all the designer bags lined up around the walls. The photographer usually shoots bags and shoes for catalogues, and there were some very nice items. They were way out of our price range, though, but the temptation was still there.

I felt a bit intimidated by all the mega photo equipment around me during the day so I didn't dare take out my Lumix. So, here's a shot of the sunset that greeted me on my way home. It was glorious.
