Duck for cover
Shelducks in Tyninghame Bay, East Lothian. I got out this morning for a spin around the woods and found a couple of dozen shelduck feeding on the sand at low tide. I got as close as I could before they flew.
First time I saw these was over 10 years ago and I thought I'd found something really rare! They're about the size of geese and very brightly coloured so they're really striking. They also nest in old rabbit holes so Tyninghame Bay is ideal for them.
