Pinot Noir

Another great day. We spent the morning at the Blenheim farmers market - if you make it here it's a must visit. Great local foods, wine of course, lots of great flavours - a real farmers market. We bought salmon, venison sausages, mussels , olive oil, organic fruit, in fact lots.

Then it was off strawberry picking, an obligatory vineyard or two, and then back to the cottage for walking and cycling.

While at Nautilus we had a personal tour of the Pinot Noir winery, this setup is solely for pinot, 2 weeks in the vats, a year on the barrels, and then into bottles for us all to drink.
