Hi Blippers and a happy Sunday to you all.....

This morning dawned magnificent. Decided, since it was a great morning, I would join some of our Photography Club on a macro fieldtrip. We went rummaging in a stand of very old tree at the back of a country golf course.
These little ones are so tiny, possibly up to 6 - 10 mm maximum. I have put the other ones including a stinky red one in my blipfolio if you are interested.

This afternoon we went for a walk across the bay and over the cliffs, lots and lots of people swimming and picnicing, possibly some ChCh folk getting away from the horrid situation they see themselves in. We have been preparing food, supplies etc for Doug, he is heading up to ChCh very early tomorrow to help with the roading situation there.

I've got a headache, sore neck, aching limbs - hope I'm not in for something.
possibly a good night sleep may do the trick.

"Roses are red, the chalice is blue, the Cathedral has fallen many buildings have too. You can rattle our bones, you can rip streets apart, but you will never defeat our red and black hearts. For we are Cantabrians and together we know, we stand tall together, through anything we regrow."

To those who don't know, red & black are the colours of Canterbury, ie sport teams.
