...Blast Off!

Our scout troop had a few guys working on their Rocketry merit badge this month and today was Launch Day. Frankly, I thought the 27F degree freezing weather should have put a "hold" on the countdown, but the word from Flight Ops was that we were "Go" for launch.

Bundled up, grabbed the camera and off we went to Sammamish Commons. Eric is shown here launching his third rocket of the day - which was the only one all day to successfully deploy its parachute...
