Today's the day ......................... to lie in wait

Now I know I've got to be very careful here - not to offend all you catlovers out there. But honestly, how unfair is this? This is our pond that we created when we came to this house because we love watching all the wildlife that a pond attracts. This does not include all the neighbours' cats.

At the moment, the pond is heaving with frogs. When you come up the steps into the front garden, you can hear a noise that sounds like the revving of a motorbike. When you can see the pond, just for a moment you see fifty or so heads, each with a couple of eyes staring in your direction. Then it's a case of 'Dive, dive, dive!' and they all disappear into the depths of the pond. Wonderful!

What you can't see here is the other cat sitting on the roof of the sun shelter just to the side - and the one on the garden wall. All waiting their turn presumably for a play with the frogs .......
