Dive

Today's the day ....................... for an aerial view

I know this picture is not of the highest quality - but it captures the most exciting thing that happened to me today.

I just happened to be on an overhanging bank of the River Kent looking down into the water, when a male goosander took a dive. He swam under the water right beneath me and because it was so clear, I could see him right to the bottom of the river.

There was a female close by and she did the same. They were incredibly graceful as they swam their underwater ballet .............
