In Amongst the Strawberry Plants

I took advantage of the weather being fine again today to spend some time tidying up the garden after a long winter of neglect. Very theraputic indeed :) Although the hard frosts have resulted in quite a few casualties, it was nice to make a start on clearing away the winter's detritus.

In amongst the strawberry plants was this little ladybug. She was very patient as I ran off indoors to fetch the camera and then take some pictures.

Its the first ladybird I have seen this year - perhaps a sign that things are starting to stir :)
