When I was a little girl the county road crew cut down our massive pear tree by mistake. It stood majestic with huge low arms at the edge of the road. I remember walking on its arms, being comforted and rewarded with huge pears. It's one of those photographs in my head. My goal is to get photographs I take with my eyes into the camera view.
The blipfoto community has taught me to stop and be in the moment, to see things in new ways so that a line, a shadow, a burst of color or subtle scenes can move me to tears, to reflection, to gratitude, to laughter. Here's to a blip in time.
