I'm a retired veterinary surgeon. I had a mixed practice in the Blue Mountains and now, while still living in the area, my wife and I spend time on our 3 children, 7 grandchildren and our farm in the beautiful Megalong Valley. I'm not a photographer and never intend to become particularly skilled but my wife (isbi) has been a daily blipper for over 8 years and I've become very interested in looking at (and commenting upon) the entries from her followers and others, not only for the photography but learning so much about people's lives and the diverse locations around the world where they live. 
My interests revolve around cattle, horses (breeding and racing), motorcycles, tractors, modern history, travel and reading. I don't intend to post every day but I'll give it a spin anyway.
