Very much enjoying the Blip community and challenge of a photo a day. 

My background is in the field of humanitarian assistance, and I used to work for the UN refugee agency (UNHCR) in Washington, DC. I currently teach piano lessons and am trying my hand at writing a novel.

I live an hour outside of DC in Loudoun County, Virginia, with my husband and two teenagers. My sister, father and grandfather are/were avid photographers, and while I'm a complete amateur I hope someday to graduate from my little old iPhone 6.
