I'm a freelance writer and editor based in a wee village outside Glasgow. Also a part-time cleaner - just to get me out of bed in the mornings!

I've always loved taking photographs and all things arty, so I thought I'd join blip just to give me something else to do (as if Facebook, etc weren't distraction enough already). Also it's a way of getting me off my MacBook at least once a day and lets me think in other creative ways. Sometimes you need that distraction as a writer.

Home is me, my partner Andy and my wee kitten Hamish, who shares the same birthday as Hitler and will no doubt feature a lot in my blips, since he does love to pose.

Speaking of whom, he just rolled over in his sleep and forgot he was lying on the edge of the sofa so fell off. Moron cat!
