I've been a dabbler in photography since I first started playing with my Dad's box brownie. My first camera was a Starlet (and now my bloke drives a Starlet) and I used to annoy my brothers and sisters by stalking them for photos. The pets were much more obliging.

My current camera is a little Canon point 'n' shoot, which is great sometimes, OK-ish most of the time, and downright frustrating a lot of the time. Some of my favourite photos have been taken on my Nokia phone. Am saving for a DSLR, and meanwhile, I still occasionally play with my Pentax film SLR.

A photographer I greatly admire is Olive Cotton.
