I've known about Blip since the beginning and always thought it was a lovely idea. It wasn't until recently though that I found myself taking regular shots and uploading them on to a lesser website that I realised that I should probably join.

When deciding what to call my journal I realised that the biggest reason I was joining was to record what will be the slow, but rewarding, transformation of our new home - it's a bit of a project - and so I called it Homebird.

We've loved the house since the beginning and since moving in in January this year (2011) have thoroughly enjoyed making our stamp on it and the garden (especially the garden) bit by bit, slowly but surely.

Maybe you'll enjoy watching the developments with me or maybe this will just be a lovely way to record what for us is a great and virtuous project.
