Grew up in Whitstable, Kent, and via Durham and the Yorkshire Dales have been in Glasgow for the last 6 years. I work part time at Glasgow School of Art, spending the rest of my professional time on my postdoctoral research in theology and religious studies.

I'm a knitter, and dabble in other wool and needle crafts. I have a young Cairn Terrier named Rowan, who I walk along the River Kelvin and in the North Kelvin Meadow.

I have long enjoyed taking snaps, and a few years ago I got a starter SLR kit with the intention of learning to take photos properly. I made a bit of progress, but it soon fell by the wayside as I fell back into reliance on the 'automatic' setting. Thought I'd have a go at Blip to document my daily adventures as well as get back into improving my photography.
