Being born in a little village in the Austrian mountains my biggest desire was to get out in the world and experience other places, cultures and realities. The professional fields I chose to make this possible were language teaching and the tourism industry. I moved around in Europe a lot, worked on a cruise ship and currently I am working in Muscat, Oman. This has become the moment I want to dedicate more time to two things I always have been interested in: Writing and Photography - I am surrounded by beautiful scenery, a culture which is very different to my own and I have enough time to sit down and document those things. After I bought a new camera last week my colleague David, who is also registered on blipfoto (david77) has recommended this site to me.
