I am a Textile Artist working in traditional techniques such as quilting, patchwork, batik, 'hooky' and 'proggy' matting, machine and hand embroidery, knitting, crochet and fabric painting. I work with schools, museums, art galleries and community groups, as well as making pieces for commission.
Strange and interesting things I have made include an Egyptian mummy to be used to teach school children, I have made and decorated using 'hooky' matting a full size coffin with a map of the World on it and a replica of Pre-Raphaelite William Bell Scott which sits at Wallington Hall with his paintings!
