Another couple of years have passed and I’m still disorganised and often behind with blipping and journals. I still really enjoy being part of this wonderful international community. Approaching our 30 year anniversary, we’ve got a lot of travel planned over the coming months so hopefully some interesting blips to come.
I’m a 61 year old early retiree who loves to walk in the countryside with my trusty companion Phin. Living just south of Edinburgh and lucky enough to have the Borders railway a 20 minute walk away.
Married for 28 years (wow how did we get this far!) with a son living just outside Dundee who gets married in November and a daughter in Edinburgh working as a social enrichment co-ordinator for one of the local schools.
Husband and I both took early retirement in 2018 and after a couple of trips to Spain in our motorhome, we were like everyone else stuck at home for quite a long time! We enjoy travelling and now we’re the proud owners of a 2 year old fur baby we are looking forward to travelling around Scotland and the rest of the UK with our yet to be purchased caravan (the motorhome was wonderful but we missed the flexibility of our own transport).
We hope to sneak in and in some cruises too whilst Phin enjoys his holidays at his excellent daycare.
Either way, plenty of opportunities for blipping.
