I have now been posting since 10th of January 2008, without missing a day. Because of this I have put on some absolute dross, but realised that didn't matter to me as much as missing a day would.

At first I wanted to post the best shot I could each day but, looking back, the photographs that mean the most to me are the ones that stir memories, not the ones I am most proud of.

I am glad I reached that point because now this feels less like a competition and a duty and more like the diary I have never managed to keep before.

Which is nice.
