Ageing rock star (well... not strictly true) with a background in Physics and software development. In no particular order, love: the missus, the children, cycling, optics, computers, software, physics, guitars, music, retro computing, reading paper books, DIY... Usually scruffy looking, bearded (periodically changing to a 'tash).

Taking a photo a day is hard. Really hard - hence the amount of time it's taken me to get beyond 730. Whowouldathunkit?

After a few years it seemed like a good time to update the bio and even add a picture. Here goes. Ahem.

Salt'n'pepper haired, barely capable photographer. Slightly more capable musician. Generally competent software developer and technologist.
