I'm Clare, I'm trained in cut and stick (Theatre Design) and I now work in Arts and Heritage. I moved to Scotland years ago and fell in love with the place. I'm an aspiring photographer but I heard it takes 10,000 hours before you're an expert at anything... I have roughly about another 4700 hours to go. Blip is a great way of putting the practice in especially with the encouragement of fellow Blip-ers...
Edit: 2016
I've spent over five years blipping... these have sometimes been working on my photography technique and sometimes just recording things that I liked...life, nature, work, street scenes, art, performance... however last year I was lucky enough to become a mum (via adoption) to our beautiful two year old daughter... my life and journal have been consumed by my recent experiences... Family life absorbs me, but I have to anonymise anything I publish, a bit of a challenge as I want to shout my love from the rooftops...so posts have become more sporadic... also my cameras are on their last legs and I'm too time and cash poor to replace them at the moment... I'll get back to taking beautiful images one day, but for now, my journal is a record of learning to love and to parent. I want to preserve the everyday, special moments and experiences that are happening right now. you are all welcome to share in my story... my posts are personal, but they are intended for public consumption...
Blip is a fabulous community which I whole heartedly support...I have made friends with lovely people here... I do enjoy looking at other journals when I have chance, to glimpse lives and to absorb creativity, but I'm not a regular commentator, please don't be offended if I don't communicate frequently, I appreciate all messages I receive and I often enjoy your journals.
so keep on blipping!
