I'm Rachel, originally from Lancashire but now living on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, at 58° North latitude.

Photography is a big passion of mine, especially landscape, travel and street photography, but I love to experiment and try different styles and techniques when time allows.

At the end of 2014 I moved from a Nikon DSLR kit to a Fujifilm X-T1 kit, as my main camera. It was probably the best move I made with my photography; that gorgeous little camera goes everywhere with me and produces stunning images. I love not having to lug big heavy kit around with me and still getting more from the camera, in terms of both results and enjoyment, than I did from the Nikon.
