As far back as I can remember I have been strongly connected to the natural world around me. What draws me to photography is the ability to capture one moment in time, fleeting and lost if not captured exactly then. Photographs are a doorway to memories and words can lead to that portal. I try to capture the beauty of the natural world—but my words don't always share that joy. What's a girl to do? Neither nature nor humans are kind and some of my work may reflect that.
I am a dual citizen of Canada and the United States and love both my countries.
