I'm Hilary, an ex-pat Scot (Edinburgh) living in leafy Surrey. I joined Blip as a way of making me more disciplined about taking a daily photo so I could familiarise myself with a new camera but I had no idea what a friendly supportive, informative variant of social media it was. I love seeing other people's pictures, reading snapshots of their lives and the unexpected bonus of pictures of old, familar places popping up prompting long-forgotten memories.

Gardening (work and pleasure), yoga, meditation, cats and wildlife (the last two not always a happy combination unfortunately) and trying to become a better photographer are the things which absorb me when I'm not sorting out the kids, husband and house.
