It has been a long time since I last posted a Blip.
Today I have paid up for a year’s membership to help me find my way back into journaling and photography. On 12/12/2023 I was diagnosed, following my first routine mammogram on 10/11/2023, with early stage tubular breast cancer. With that diagnosis, I have had to hand over control of my life to others and I am struggling. So post surgery (Lumpectomy on 23/01/24) I am now waiting for oncology to discuss and plan the radiation therapy step and then hormone therapy - it is these two elements which worry me the most now that I know the cancer has been completely removed.
Therefore it is time to take back some control and remember that everyday there are beautiful things to notice and things to be grateful for. Blip has helped me in the past and I know it will help again now.
I have changed so much in the almost 5 years of contributing to this site.
As of 01.01.2017 I have committed myself to posting every day and losing myself in looking at others' journals.
