Age nine I saw Disney's Peter Pan 15 times and decided to become an animator - which I am.
Bought my first camera in 1959 - and learn to develop films and enlarge pictures.
Later I studied film making in The Danish Film School.
I make documentaries and have worked on three Icelandic feature films: two as second cameraman and one as an editor.
Today I mostly work in animation on titles, explanatory 2D- and 3D graphic and Green Screen.
I also paint in watercolours.
Met my wife when we were 17, we have 2 full grown boys, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A year ago I was diagnosed with cancer and went through radiotherapy last summer. I still have hot flashes but I am getting there.
I'm a company of one: Green Doorway productions or in Icelandic Græna gáttin kvikmyndagerð.
