I'm a 32 yrs old doctor from South Africa. I live in Johannesburg, the crime capital of the world, but I love my country and I love my life here. I have a wonderful husband whose name is Sean... we've been married for a year now. I have two beautiful dogs/children, named Paddington and Baloo. Paddington was rescued off the highway where he was presumably dumped at the age of +/- 6 weeks - he's now almost a year old. Baloo is a purebred Australian Shepherd who is 9 weeks old at the start of this journal. This journal tracks our first year or so with Baloo... sometimes through his eyes, sometimes through ours... this should be good fun :)

It's a year down the line... Sean and I have been happily married for more than 2 years now, Baloo is now 14 months old, Paddington will be 2yrs old in June... and I'm still loving Blip! The frequency with which I blip has decreased significantly (sometimes only once a week now), but it's still awesome to check in on all the "regulars" and to catch up with everybody when I've got something special to share.
I've met some really cool blippers along the way... Thank you for being such fans of Paddington and Baloo! You guys have made me laugh and cry, both with your comments and your own blips:)
I'm also proud to say that I now have a far better understanding of my camera and I'm able to set it manually with some degree of confidence!
Well, here we go for another year... Keep blipping:)

Browsing through my old entries and I remember why I fell in love with Blipfoto in the 1st place:) Baloo and Paddington now have a sister named Aneko (rescue Husky) and a little brother named Whiskey (a mixed breed rescue from the Eastern Cape). Sean and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on 4 March and thing are going well. Looking forward to catching up with some pics and comments! xxx
