I’m Jacx, an entrepreneur with two businesses alongside my husband. We’re passionate about connecting people through the networking events we host, bringing folks together to share ideas and opportunities
 
I don’t often travel far from home. My home is where my heart is and where I feel most content.
 
You won’t find photos of exotic locations here. Instead, I will share the everyday moments that capture my eye.
 
In the summer, my backyard becomes my vacation space, enjoying the sounds surrounding me,  the warm sun, and watching my garden grow.  During the colder months, I usually hibernate.  I enjoy sitting by the window with a good book, a glass of wine, and watching the snow fall.
 
My three budgies give me joy every day with their antics and chattering. 
 
Since January 2025, I have texted my granddaughter every day.  It started as a joke, but I found it isn’t that hard to do.  In my texts, I share memories, what we did, or what is on my mind.
 
Before bed, I unwind with a good book, and I keep a list of every book I’ve read, rating them as I go.  I will read just about everything.
 
I have many music playlists on YouTube.  Recently, I decided to add the music to Excel, calling it my musical scrapbook.  It’s quite a task, but I am enjoying it. I get to listen to all the songs again.
 
I’m also writing a journal about my life before having kids, a project sparked when one of my sons said he didn’t know much about my upbringing or what I was like as a child.  This has helped me remember so many things from when I was a child.
 

Now, I’m starting a new Blipfoto journey, capturing and sharing the everyday moments that tell my story.
