Spring Called, but Winter Answered

Yesterday felt like spring, but winter isn’t done with us yet. We missed the freezing rain here in Ajax, but we might not be so lucky tonight. 

The wind is bitter and cold. While the roads and driveways remain clear, a light dusting of snow has settled on the grass.

When we got home, I was surprised to find a thin layer of snow on our path. Just enough to capture our footprints. As I held the door open for my husband and watched him climb the steps, I noticed the imprints we left behind.


Yes! This was going to be my best photo yet!
