I am a Jamaican who lived in Scotland for a year and call both home..hence the name JamKeilidh which is an effort to stay true to my roots but embrace a culture I have grown to love. What else can I say? I believe that we should enjoy life and have fun living but that it should be done in a manner that will honour the Lord Jesus Christ. I know what it has been like to hate living and no longer want to be here but I praise God for His love and saving grace! God has transformed my life from ordinary into extraordinary! I have seen God turn my schoolwork around from being mediocre to being excellent (from average to top in the island and class). I have seen God heal my mind, soul and spirit from depression. I have seen many dreams come true that couldn't have happened unless for the grace of God (e.g. having my degree changed from an upper second to a first class honours 4 days before graduation). I have seen God give me a job after leaving university on the one and only job application I sent out.(I had planned to send out more but I was hired before I got a chance to). I have seen God provide me with the opportunity to study in another country. What can I say about me? Nothing really. It's really what I can say about the Lord Jesus Christ who has given my life purpose and has enabled me to live with Him eternally.
