I have been interested in photography since childhood. My father was a press photographer and I gained a lot from him, although I never did quite understand all the technical bits!

I lost a bit of interest for a while with film but then I bought my first digital compact in 2002 and photography is now my passion and main hobby. In 2012 I did a photography workshop which finally helped me to begin to understand apertures and shutter speeds etc. It also introduced me to blip and my photography has continued to improve ever since.

I love landscapes and nature and enjoy doing close-up work. Now I find that I am experimenting with different shots and techniques more.
