I have always loved photographs. I think it comes from being allowed by my generous mother, when I was an infant, to sort the contents of the only small box of family photos we had in the early 1950s. I had to sort them into groups of photos of people I recognized. It would entertain me for hours. I can still see my baby self sitting on the floor sorting my treasures.
UPDATE. We moved from the Southern Highlands to the Central Coast in NSW in January 2023. We now live in a retirement village. We miss the Southern Highlands but the Central Coast has some lovely aspects too. It's generally about 5 degrees warmer that the Southern Highlands and very often very humid. That's taking some getting used to.
