My name is Patty and I'm from Philly. I've been married to my husband Newby for 25 years. We have four "girls"…Holly (Dalmatian), Belle (Coonhound), Sallie and Suzie, (Siamese Sealpoints). I retired  from my career of 30+ years in December 2013, well before retirement age due to the agency's downsizing. I have mixed feelings about not being employed and being a stay-at-home wife, but only because Newby hasn't retired yet and doesn't intend to anytime in the future. But due to his company's generous annual leave package, we're able to travel several times a year. These days, I spend my days taking care of our Girls, the house, working out, walking, stitching (cross or needlepoint), downsizing our household by selling on eBay or Etsy, among a few other things. I got my first iPhone on my 50th birthday in 2007 (Newby was among the first customers at the local Apple Store to buy the iPhone when it first came out).
