It all started back in December 1975. My grandma bought me my first camera (Kodak pocket 110 instamatic).
Skip forward past some successful years with a 35mm film camera, a less successful camera and consequent dissatisfaction, then gradually into the digital age.
To coincide with a significant birthday and holiday a couple of years ago, I opted for a new camera. BINGO – the enthusiasm of all those years ago returned.
I have a feeling the Snapping and Blipping bug is here to stay.
Unfortunately I fear I sometimes try the patience of my better half, as a good walk is often subject to pauses and interruptions as I scoot off to "just grab another".
In all other respects – she keeps me on the straight and narrow, here in East Yorkshire.
Finally, many of these blips may be concentrated on the south east corner of York. Sadly this thing called work interrupts many a good blipping opportunity.
