Happily retired in this gem of a town in the Western Cape, South Africa. My main interests are golf, reading, photography, cooking, birding and, after a 30 year break, bowls.

I have enjoyed seeing what others have done and took the plunge after suffering the photography equivalent of "battle fatigue". I've decided to bring the D70 out of retirement and to keep it with me as often as possible.

Latterly my major photo enjoyment has come from using Nikon's amazing old manual focus glass on my D200 and hopefully I'll resuscitate this aspect too.
