The first facility of its kind in Canada, and only the second to meet UCI International Standards in North America, this venue will host the Track and Road Time Trials for Cycling competitions during the 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games.
Upon completion of the Games, the Velodrome, to be known as The Mattamy National Cycling Centre, will be the new home for the Canadian National Cycling Team. The owner is the Town of Milton and completion is scheduled for late summer 2014. The first International Event is being planned for October, 2014.
