I've got a new puppy. Wasn't expecting to get another dog so soon after I lost my bestest friend in the world. But hey ho; it just happened.. I'm not very techie and I don't even know whether this will post...………….. but I've just changed my Blip title and user name (I think) so now I've got to try and change my Blip profile picture. #watchthisspace
Update 15.01.19
MollyCollie passed away on 13.01.19. I am absolutely devastated and am not sure whether to continue Blipping or not. Changing the title of this BLIP journal to 'Life after MollyCollie' and changing my user name to LadyA for now.
My name is Molly and I'm a six and a half year old collie (December 2010). My owner, Ann, adopted me from the RSPCA in January 2005. I had a really bad start in life as I was badly treated and neglected. When I first came to live with Ann I didn't know how to behave. I wasn't toilet trained, I chewed everything in sight, I was sick every time I went in the car, I was scared of everything & everybody, I didn't know how to wag my tail and I'd never had any toys so I didn't know how to play.
Ann tells me I was a nightmare at first. She didn't know how to train me to become a perfect pooch. Every day she cuddled me and told me she loved me but I was petrified of everything. Even the phone ringing or the hoover used to send me into a mad frenzy. After about a month I overheard Ann telling a friend that she couldn't cope with me. She said she wished she'd got a puppy because at least then she'd be starting with a clean slate. She said if I didn't improve within six months she would have to send me back to the RSPCA. I was so, so upset. I loved my new home. I could tell that Ann was even more upset though. She'd thought long and hard before getting me and she'd told me this was going to be my forever home. I decided there and then that I'd try my hardest to be the best dog ever.
Now I'm ever such a good girl. Well I am most of the time?! I'm still scared of men that I don't know but when I get to know them they become my best friend. I hate buses, the biffa truck and big lorries. I woof at them. And I absolutely despise skateboarders and the postman! But, I am extremely well behaved in the house, I'm not sick in the car anymore, I never chew the furniture or go to the toilet in the house, and my social skills are impeccable so I get taken to the pub on a regular basis.
Ann tells me every day that she loves me. And I love her too. I'm such a lucky little collie dog!
