Child's eye

Found myself without a photo again today. I really need to get outside at least once, but I find the weather intolerable when I have an opportunity. Must stop being such a pansy. So here I am with an indoor shot at night. I can't stand the poorly light inside our home. I only have a love for natural light. I am spoiled. The effort to process this and have it even remotely acceptable was far too much for me to handle. So it is what it is.

I'll try and make it better with this little beauty....

Through the eyes of a child
skin is just skin
and speaks not a word
of the person within

Race is what happens
on the playground at school
Color is crayons
and rainbows and jewels

Through the eyes of a child
everybody's a friend
there's no problem
Rock, Paper, Scissors can't mend

War is a game
played with green plastic men
nobody gets hurt
when it's only pretend

Through the eyes of a child
happiness reigns
love lasts forever
and is never in vain

Time is eternal
imagination runs wild
when you see the world
through the eyes of a child

P.S. I do love the soft hairs on his little, rosy cheeks.
P.P.S Yes, our dining room walls are the color of curry (haldi).
