Today's the day ................ to show off some handiwork

Has to be an early indoor blip today - because it's pouring with rain outside and soon I'll be leaving this house with its internet connection and heading off home where all is silent.

So this is a pottery chicken that I made for my Mum about thirty-five years ago (can it really be?!) when I went to an pottery nightclass on a Wednesday evening once a week.

Amazingly, it still has a place in her kitchen looking after the eggs - all these years later .............
