Buskers

Today's the day ................................ to cheer everyone up

It was a dull and dreary day in the Auld Grey Town today. The skies were grey and it felt damp and chilly as I walked through the streets. I could hear that there was something going on long before I saw what was making the noise.

There was quite a crowd gathered round these four and everyone was smiling and tapping their feet to the music. It was impossible not to! What a difference they made to the day.

The only one who wasn't quite so happy - was another busker strumming away at a banjo just down the road. Nobody was giving him a second glance, never mind their loose change. They were heading off in the direction of the happy music ......................
