Training

I decided to punctuate my training walk today with tea with friends. I think I should use this as an option for more of my walks. The need to meet people at a certain time kept my pace fast. As the marathon is as much for getting me fit as it is for raising money for charity I was very good and whilst my friends sat eating cake, I had tea and two chocolate truffles instead of hot chocolate and a nice slice of cake.

As I walked back along the canal I found the reason I had passed lots of ducks was that they weren't down waiting to be fed at the slipway. That left me without the photo I wanted. I've always noticed this bit of equipment but never photographed it. No idea what it is but I assume it used to be related to the canal.
