To Michigan!!!

What a fantastic day!

I stayed up late packing last night and woke up early to collect all of my post-it notes and triple-check my luggage. School was unbearable. Perri sent everyone texts with the amount of hours left until our flight. We left the school on the coach bus at 3:30. At LaGuardia, we followed Mama Duck (Ms. C) through baggage claim (we were all walking in a straight line behind her so we looked like ducks) and Reynolds (Mr. V) brought up the rear as the teenage duck filled with angst. He's really young (24?) so we picked on him quite a bit... Kate got stopped in security and was put into the glass box. She was hyperventilating but she got out okay. The phoenix (still Reynolds) tried to beat the system by bringing a water bottle in his carry-on but they caught him and used him as an example. It was really funny. We chilled in the airport and ate a little before taking a small bus to our very small plane (seen here). Shaymus and Chris couldn't even fit without ducking. We sat for about an hour before finally taking off. It was a relatively smooth ride but it felt really long. I sat next to Elaina and we took funny Photobooth pictures. Kate fell asleep behind us so we took a bunch of pictures of her with her mouth wide open. We even got one of Reginald P. Reynolds sleeping. Perri brought her boyfriend's sock puppet on the trip with her. His name is Lenny and Perri annoyed phoenix and Kate so much with it. We landed at about 9:30 and got on another buts to drive for an hour from Grand Rapids to Big Rapids. When we got to the hotel we were exhausted. Me, K-po, and Shaymus nearly passed out by the time we got settled. What a busy day.

I wish I didn't have to backblip this because I'm sure I'm forgetting some details. Oh well, it happens.
