Afterglow

Fab day. Got down to the yard early and took Jack out round the woods. It was so beautiful in there in the early morning light and hardly anyone else about. Then the horse dentist came and did them both. She thinks Lime still has a bit of the roots of the wolf tooth that was extracted last autumn - so got to get the vet out again. Sits just where his bit does so not good.

Had a couple of hours at home in between and then had a lesson on Lime this afternoon. Instructor was impressed with how much he has come on already since last week. Next week we are moving onto cantering!

Unfortunatley got between Lime and another horse (long story) and got kicked in the back. Not too hard but I can feel it stiffening up now.

Light was beautiful this evening. Fish and chips in front of the fire tonight.
