Market Street

Zihua's main market street, Los Cocos, is an always changing three block area that leads to the more permanent Mercado. You never know what you will find as you walk down the congested thoroughfare, you just know that whatever is in season will be displayed at the sidewalk vendors. We had eaten stuffed squash at dinner the previous evening and the next day we found it at almost every vendor. How do you pick from whom to purchase? We chose the one with the most artful display, if not the happiest expression.
