I think I can

Temps took a dip in the past few days, just as garden flowers started to bloom. In fact, the weather people had called for snow overnight and into the day: they got all excited and produced statistics going back a gazillion years and generally worked themselves into a frenzy: "half an inch to three inches!!!"; roads got treated, and I'm sure stores supplies of toilet paper and chips ran short (Washington, DC isn't know for its capability to withstand even the announcement of snow...).

And... nothing happened :)
