Today's the day ...................... for a walk in the woods

Went for an evening stroll in Brigsteer Woods not far from Kendal where the wild daffodils, wood anemones, violets and celandines were in full bloom. You really had to stay on the path unless you wanted to trample all over them - they formed such a rich carpet everywhere else.

It was so peaceful there as the sun slowly went down. Apart from the birds and a squirrel, we had the whole wood to ourselves. It's so nice when the clocks go forward and the evenings are light again ..................
