No rain!

Woke up to silence! no tap tapping of rain that we have had for three days solid, I was considering buying a build your on ark kit!
Spent most of today chained to my desk still working on all manner of stuff. Did sneak away with hubby for lunch but had to get back to finish the boring stuff.

Had to take the wee dog to the vet as she sometimes coughs up phlegm . Honestly this dog my youngest got is costing me a small fortune in flaming vet bills. I think the vets must reckon I may have Munchaussens by proxy! Today the vet said she detected a small (very small) heart murmer but otherwise she was ok. Fortunatley I had the foresight to record her wee coughing episode on my mobile so I was able to show the vet it, she then thought it may be lungworm which they can pick up from snails and boy do we have snails? Every eveining I open the back door the blighters are sliming their way either up the wall or along the veranda, I hate them, there must be some safe way to eradicate them without harming guineapigs and rabbits and dogs? Any advice will be greatfully accepted.

Ach well I better back to the kitchen to check on how my lentil soup is progressing
